As the title says, these are the things I'm most likely to stream at any given time:
Random gameplay of FFXIV
Dragon Warrior 1 Randomizer Found here
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Randomizer Found here
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link Randomizer Found here

At any given time, this could change or I can decide to do something with other streamers. No schedule as of yet, but I'm hoping to get something going on.

A general outline of known locales and faces around the world. It's generally implied that most people of the world are at least cursorily aware of these things. This is very much a work in progress, so please expect this to expand.

~~Locales~~
City of Ada
A large metropolis in a temperate climate. Locked in a constant state of war with the dragons of Twilight Reach.

Twilight Reach
A vast mountain range that splits most of the known region in twain. Home of the chromatic dragons. Few who venture off the beaten path escape to tell the tale.

Lunar Wilds
A vast, mostly untamed jungle to the southwest. Little is known about what lurks beneath the canopy.

City of Aeriani
One of the few tamed areas of the Lunar Wilds. Home of the Cacophony of Twem.

The Rift Between Worlds
A fold between planes that is home to Caionna and the burgeoning world she opted to create with the surplus of energies reclaimed in her battle with Aesalth. A sparsely decorated platform overlooking a conflux of magical energy in an expansive void. Rumored to be a gateway between realities. Only those chosen may pass to it from their world.

~~Organizations~~
Hoir Foundry
A business owned and operated by Zarik and Arendal. Formerly the spearhead of defense for Ada against the dragons, until the city foolishly cast the duo out after Zarik's origin came to light.

Cacophony of Twem
The gathering of harpies that worship a phoenix named Pharos. Once thought to be destroyed following word getting out that a new phoenix had been born. Having been rallied under the banner of said phoenix, the daughter of Pharos, they rebuilt their ancestral home in the Lunar Wilds.

Thunder of Twilight Reach
The collective of dragons that call the mountain range their home. Self-proclaimed rulers of the realm, hotly contested by the likes of the Foundry and what little remains of the resistance in Ada.

~~Noteworthy NPCs~~
Aesalth Redfang
Leader of the Reach's Thunder. A terrible red dragon. Mother of Caionna and Zarik. Hellbent on bringing the realm to its knees in servitude to her.

Derigan Hoir
A powerful wizard. Not much is known about the man aside from the fact that he managed to tame a phoenix as either a pet or familiar. Thought to be the father of Caionna and Zarik, though many speculate they simply took moniker.

Pharos Ignatius
The phoenix god of the Tweman harpies. Rumor suggests that the cacophony summoned him and convinced him to mate with the priestesses of their faith, resulting in the kidnapped egg that would come to be known as Neristhana.

Use this thread to give the outline of your characters. If you do decide to create separate profiles for a more fleshed out bio, at least link the character's user ID so we can connect character to author.

I'm also going to hold you all to an honor system of staying within the writing forum with your character profiles, because figuring out how to quarantine them is something that I've wracked my brain for hours to no avail. I poked Epele until she fixed it.

Please at least try to be original. If it's obvious you're just lifting a character from something else, or we find out you are, we will take action. This is your warning.

General Outline:
Name
Sex
Race
Age
Appearance
Outfit(s)
Personality
Biography (can be short or long)
Skills
Preferred weapon

Rule 1:
If you want to participate, post a character in The Cast of Characters thread, or open a new account with mention of intention to be a character.

If you have a character from a different board, or any other preexisting roleplay you participate in and you would like to use them in this story, do not assume everyone knows everything about them and post their bio in the profile thread.

I will be enforcing this from now on. Only exceptions being explicitly one-shot NPCs. Not ongoing, sustained characters.

Rule 2:
Everything is in canon, unless it is deleted or edited (the Retcon rule) or posted in a thread explicitly marked with "[non-canon]".

Rule 3:
When you join the story, do not immediately throw us into a scenario that requires immediate action. Introduce yourself and ease the group into such an event.

Rule 4:
If you start a story arc that removes people from the hub thread, see it through to the end or don't start it. If you foresee that you will not be able to maintain an ongoing story for a prolonged period, let me know in one way or another. I refuse to have people complain because their character is locked into a dead thread.

Rule 5:
A given character can only be in one thread at a time, not counting any thread marked as non-canon.

Rule 6:
Characters who have no reasonable way of knowing shall not make references to non-canon events (the Savvy rule).

Rule 7:
Characters who are fourth wall aware (for whatever reasonable justification) are allowed to use the terms "page" and "thread" in regular speech. Others may just ignore the oddity (the Deadpool rule).

Rule 8:
When a story has started, a character may not suddenly appear and act as if that character has been there from the start, unless properly justified (the zbyte rule). The Dragon and The Man Behind The Man are exempt from this rule for dramatic purposes.

Rule 9:
No controlling anyone else's character UNLESS THEY SPECIFY YOU MAY DO SO. An obvious exception would be if you having multiple characters on their own login, but no controlling another writer's character without permisison.

Rule 10:
No godmoding (making your character completely invincible in any way, or changing around rules in order to win every time.)

Rule 11:
Try to write in prose, or as close to prose as possible. It's so much easier to read, it creates a better visual, and generally flows much smoother. NOT required, but preferred.

Note: This is intended for mature writers. Explicit or graphic material is allowed, but it must be handled with a level of tact.

As far as playing goes, here's a simple breakdown:

The main thread ([TBD]) is completely free form. All that happens there is the build up and release of our individual story threads, aside from side stories between players or between two characters of the same player that don't warrant stemming a new thread. That stated, all of the goings on happen within the setting of the main thread, wherever it happens to be at the point of development.

Story threads will be given a more structured development as far as storytelling goes. The OP will be relegated as the GM (Or if necessary, I will step in) for all intents and purposes. Typical turns should include at least one post from each participating player including things like interactions between other player characters or non-player characters that the story called for, as well as actions to be taken in problem solving, combat or otherwise. In the case of inactivity, you may be forced to forfeit your turn for the sake of fluidity.

If in the case you are planning a plot twist of some kind, bring it to the attention of at least the GM of the arc (unless of course, you are the GM) or someone else in charge so that there isn't a surprise. This clause is in place to prevent people from invoking The Dragon rule.

If you're going to say something out of character, notate it with either ((double parenthesis)) or a

quote box

Some actual examples of the above rules
---------------------------------------
(On the current party almost being "the 'New Fantastic Four' all over again")
Spider-Man: Surely I'm not the -only- one who remembers -that-?

(On using meta-measurements)
Bullseye: Deadpool! How long has it been?
Deadpool: Issue 16, Greece. What's up, Bullseye?
(Bullseye ignores "issue 16" because he knows Pool is insane and accepts "Greece".)

(On prose)
Which would you rather read?

1) A young boy and his dog sit by a tree on the top of the hill, overlooking flowing of the grass in the field below as the gentle breeze blows through. The boy pats his canine companion on the head, and says with a sigh, "It doesn't get much better than this, huh boy?"

-OR-

2) A boy sits at the top of a hill with his dog and looks at the field below.

Boy: It sure is nice here in the country. Isn't it, boy?
---------------------------------------

Bear in mind, this is subject to change.

Out in the vast expanse of nothing there sits a strange bubble. Within the bubble stands a modest building atop a terrace and courtyard. There's not much in the way of decoration to any of this, merely a few tables and other outdoor furnishings. It wouldn't seem out of the ordinary, were it not for the nothingness of the outer reaches.

Below the platform, outside of the bubble, is a large orb of glowing energy with swirls of colorful light, overtly pulsing with magical energy, yet strangely benign and soothing.

In a partition to the side of the platform is a walled off section housing a series of light pillars with a gateway to a larger central platform. Within the larger platform, itself, stands the aforementioned building and its courtyard. As of yet, there is little of note aside from the furniture and an attempt to make the area inviting with plants and vegetation and a floating orb of light to approximate daylight. On the opposite edge from the partition, leads a passage to a queerly more secluded area.

At one of the tables in the courtyard, two men and a woman are sitting. The men appear to be playing a game, while the woman - a harpy with vibrant wings - appears to be slumped over on the table, her wings shimmering and changing colors as the light dances across her feathers as she breathes. Neither of the men - a smaller man clad in black and blue and
a larger man in a green trench coat - seem to be paying her mind, instead choosing to be more intently minding their game of cards sprawled across the space on the table between them, with them chattering inanely to themselves.

Nearby, a smaller harpy girl, far younger than the one slumped over the table, sits on the porch of the structure with her nose buried in the pages of a book. There is a noticeable dusting of what appears to be snow in her immediate vicinity.

Near the edge of the courtyard stands yet another bird, this time, a boy. He is even younger than the girl. He stares out into the expansive nothingness overlooking the magical orb below.

From the darkness of the secluded area of the platform, a woman's voice calls out, "Reyn, be careful about how close to the edge you're standing. I know that you know it's warded, but I still want you to be cautious."

The boy sighs and grumbles as snapping and crackling is heard from him while a series of sparks seem to fly from him, wreathing his figure in lightning. He steps back and calls out, "Yes, Aunt Cai."

Eh, never thought to do anything with anything yet.

The only peeps here besides you are Epele and Trapster, and we use other chats and shit to stay in contact.

As for what I did... I sat for five hours at work doing dick all. Explaining to damn near everyone that our store is doing a remodel.

I've always preferred forums, but Discord has convenience on its side.

Ping-ponging on forum games is fine, but when it becomes 90% of the entirety of the forum's activity, it gets old.

I actually thought I responded to this several days ago. I guess I only looked at it on my phone at work. I've been so damn busy between FFXIV stuff, like trying to get back to level cap and futureproofing my crafting, and so stressed from details in my real life that I just keep forgetting to come and use this place for even the shit I opened it for.
