I dunno, there aren't any posts in general chat so far. Might as well make this to fill the gap up a little bit.

I haven't really done much or seen anything particularly interesting today (or even within about the past few weeks or so), unfortunately. To compensate, here's a recipe for sausage rolls, because those of you who haven't had one are seriously missing out.

Eh, there's a certain charm to forum communication. I think it allows for more thought to be put into a singular message, and for more time to be considered while reading - perhaps Discord's more "chaotic, all-in-one" nature led to the general erosion of civility over time in a lot of places.

I'll also never forget the ping-ponging of forum games, as weird as it sounds. It's something you just can't replicate on Discord easily.

Having time for all this stuff when reality is a concern is the bigger question though and I guess as you get older and there's little in the way of new intake that sticks around, well.

At least you're keeping it around, unlike me back in the day, who effectively managed to scare off any potential friend group that posted member base I ever managed to have going.

Random check-in because why the hell not. Also because I see Trelior is still sometimes on here.

Also, 2025 was... interesting. I guess.

In my own life, not really so far. I've barely even been online anywhere in the past 3 months, and to be honest I'm preferring this slower approach, away from Discord and whatnot.

Hearing things constantly just stresses me out so I try not to even bother anymore. Doesn't help much of it isn't even relevant to day-to-day life.

God help us all when the under 25s of today get into power, though. The pendulum will swing so hard in one direction it'll break off its handle and no sod will bother repairing it. What direction, I'm not sure tbh.
